Second week...a little weak

Only 1 pound down this week. It's amazing the damage pizza and few beers can do. Friday night, we went out to celebrate my friend Lori's 35th birthday (you know what a big one that is for us women) so I couldn't help but indulge in a little eat and drink. That, combined with the crispy chicken I felt I needed for "recovery" the next day, obviously did me in.

But, I know my faults. I know my weaknesses...and I'm not going to let it discourage me...this time. I'll just have to work extra hard THIS week. Wish me luck!

Jen--
1 pound is a a good loss. Most of what you loss your first week was water weight. WW isn't about denial or a diet. It's a lifestyle change. WW states that a goog loss is anywhere between .2 lbs and 2 lbs.
Fast is not good. Embrace your lost and be proud and happy--even if the loss is "small." It'll be hard to stick to the plan if you find yourself disappointed with a 1pound loss.

I don't think it is so much the 1 pound, but the knowledge that I indulged a bit too much for what I'm trying to accomplish here. It's pizza and beer GUILT! Thanks for commenting.

Doesn't that put you at a 5 pound weight loss for the last two weeks? Congratulations!

I totally can share your feeling of guilt. I have that sometimes too. It's important for us to allow ourselves the indulgences or we guilt ourselves right out trying to do what we really want which is to be healthy and happy. Quite a balancing act.
